The IPAS pedestrian warning chip is designed to be used in conjunction with other IPAS warning system products to reduce the risk of collisions between pedestrians and vehicles.

If a pedestrian gets too close to a forklift/vehicle on which an IPAS vehicle antenna is installed, the warning chip gives a signal either by vibration and/or sound.

The IPAS warning system is designed to reduce the risk of collisions between pedestrians and vehicles. While most similar systems work with RFID technology, the IPAS system works with ultra-wideband technology (UltraWideBand technology), which is considerably more accurate and has a larger working radius (up to 30m). A larger working radius gives drivers time to react even when moving at higher speeds.

Advantages of the IPAS system: The devices are easy to install and do not require rebuilding of vehicles. The antenna attaches using strong magnets and can be powered either by connecting directly to the vehicle's electrical system or to a cigarette lighter.
The devices work on 12/24V.

Suitable for installation in "blind corners/areas" where there is a risk of collision between vehicles and pedestrians. Warns with flashing lights and a warning sound.
